I transform my original watercolor paintings into thoughtfully designed surface patterns for fashion, with an emphasis on organic movement, color, and timeless appeal.

Over twenty-five years ago, I fell in love with watercolor painting after taking a class at my local college, and it has remained at the heart of my creative life ever since.

I’m continually inspired by the versatility of the medium — how the choice of paper, the amount of water, and techniques like wet-on-wet or wet-on-dry can create vastly different effects.

Flowers are my primary source of inspiration. Their colors, shapes, and natural rhythms fascinate me, and I enjoy translating their beauty and emotion into paint. Much of my inspiration comes from my garden, travels, and time spent outdoors in nature.

The movement, spontaneity, and endless possibilities of watercolor continue to keep me curious, always learning, and always creating.
